The complexity and cost of complying with telecommunications regulations in the United States, at the federal, state, and local levels, are constantly increasing.  New regulatory requirements are forcing telecommunications providers like Anavon to purchase additional software services and network equipment and dedicate significant development resources to maintain compliance.

These incremental expenses are in addition to the high cost of compliance historically incurred by telecommunications providers. Even after giving effect to this new fee, Anavon’s regulatory compliance fees are still lower than the fees charged by other leading vendors.  Our mission remains to provide outstanding service to our customers at some of the lowest rates in the industry, and that remains the case.

A: Yes.  All telecommunications providers charge fees aimed at offsetting regulatory compliance costs. In fact, Anavon’s total regulatory fee amounts are lower than the fees charged by other leading vendors.

Q: Where will this fee show up?
A: The fee will show up as a separate line item entitled “Regulatory Compliance Fee” on a customer’s invoice in the “Monthly Recurring Charges” section.

Q: When will this fee first appear on my bill?
A: The fee will start accruing on the Billing Date of the Month, and will show up in bills mailed out subsequent to that date.
